Saddle on up!
Glasgow Light Opera Club presented their final performance of Irving Berlin's classic Annie Get Your Gun at the King's Theatre on Saturday night.

Directed by Alan Jones, the cast gave a five-star performance and really did bring a touch of the Wild West to Glasgow.

Gunshots, period costumes and other memorabilia from the days when cowboys rode the range provided a superb backdrop for characters such as Annie Oakley, Chief Sitting Bull and Buffalo Bill to take the audience back in time.

Music, dancing and lights all contributed to a superb performance.

By the time Annie - Janice Bruce - rode on to stage in the final scene on Bonnie, an Andalusian mare, the only thing missing was a gun fight at the OK Corral.

Top marks all round.
