[The Cast] My Fair Lady

A musical in two act by Lerner and Loewe. (1956).

Based on Shaw's "Pygmalion" , memorable songs and unforgettable characters make this one of the classic shows of the twentieth century. Eliza Doolittle, a rough flower girl from Covent Garden is transformed into an elegant lady with beautiful speech by Henry Higgins, a professor of language. The transformation takes many months and we are treated to brief, hilarious glimpses of the process until Eliza emerges triumphant. On the way there are romantic interludes and comic capers which keep the show bouncing along.

Producer - Alan C. Jones
Musical Director - Hugh McAulay

The chosen charity for this show was Quarrier's Epilepsy Centre and they benefited from a donation of £1000.
