[The Cast] Oklahoma!

A musical play by Rodgers and Hammerstein. (1943).

Oklahoma! takes the standard love story and sets it in the Mid West at the turn of the century. The courtship between Curly and Laurey follows the usual predictable path with dramatic input from Jud Fry, a jealous admirer of Laurey and highly amusing scenes supplied by Ali Hakim and Ado Annie. Theatrical licence allows Jud to be killed (accidentally) and the two lovers set out to make their lives together in the brand new state of Oklahoma!

Producer - Alan C. Jones
Musical Director - Gordon Currie
Choreographer - Catherine Dunn

The chosen charity for this show was Cardiac Rehab Centre (Heartbeat) and they benefited from a donation of £1000.
