[The Cast] The Great Waltz

A musical play in two acts. Music by Strauss (jnr & snr).

A tuneful romp in Vienna, based loosely around the relationship between Johann Strauss and his son Schani. Their rivalry is played out against a background of romantic intrigue and lighter comic moments. It ends, naturally enough, with Strauss senior recognising Schani's genius when he performs "The Blue Danube" (A bit of an anachronism, but hey, this is theatre).

Producer - Alan C. Jones
Musical Director - R. John Howden
Choreographer - Catherine Dunn
